Mark your calendars! With Lent just around the corner, your Pastoral Council will sponsor an evening of Mardi Gras on February 21 at 6pm in the gym. This will be an international potluck affair so dust off your favorite festive dish recipe and join us for Fat Tuesday. There will be raffles, beverages and a live jazz band. Bishop Edward Weisenburger will celebrate the Mass for Marriage Anniversaries for 2023 on Sunday, February 12 at 2:30 pm at St. Augustine Cathedral. Our Knights of Columbus, St Martin de Porres Council #6848, presented a check for $500 to Hands of Hope, a pro-life pregnancy center here in Tucson, that works with young, pregnant mothers. Our Knights sold tickets for the Roadrunners hockey games to make this donation possible. Thank you SFdS Parishioners for supporting our fundraiser!

We will have our annual Christmas presentation on Sunday, December 18 at 1pm. The Youth Group will be serving a spaghetti lunch for our guests. The children will entertain you before lunch, and our adult choir will entertain you afterward. It is a wonderful way to celebrate our Christmas Season. This is a free event, but please consider bringing a gift for a child or teen for the St. Vincent de Paul Christmas baskets. 50th Anniversary Mass and Luncheon Finale. The Jubilee finale will be held on November 20, beginning with the 11:30 am Mass celebrated by Bishop Edward Weisenburger. After Mass, we will celebrate the renaming of the social and religious center, followed by a Chicken Kiev dinner and entertainment from the 4Gents. The luncheon is free, but reservations are required by calling the office at 520-885-5908 by November 14, or until we have reached 300 people.
Come meet with members of the Finance Council, along with the Finance Manager, and ask about parish finances. When: Sunday, November 13th, after the 9:30 Mass. Where: O'Leary room in the Parish Center (along with coffee and doughnuts).
We will meet right after Mass on Nov. 5, in the Pieta Garden on the north side of the church. Coffee, tea, other beverages and snacks will be served, and we will learn a little about the Pieta statue. Come enjoy the company of fellow parishioners and our Blessed Mother!

The Youth Group will be hosting Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 30th at 6pm. This is a free event for our Parish children. Hot dogs will be served. There will be fun games. We are in need of decorated vehicle trunks and candy. This event will take place in the east side parking lot. You can start setting up at 4pm.
On Thursday, October 20th, after the 8am Mass, we will have coffee, hot beverages and snacks in the new Fatima Garden on the south side of the church. Come for Mass and stay for Coffee with Mary. We will enjoy the new garden and each other's company in the presence of our Blessed Mother.
Our Octoberfest will be on Sunday, October 16 at 12:30 pm. Food will include brats, sauerkraut, German potato salad, rolls and delicious apple and pumpkin desserts. The Knights of Columbus will provide the drinks. A German band will be playing music so bring your dancing shoes! This event is free but reservations are required by calling the office at 520-885-5908 by October 12. Reservations are capped at 300 people.
