MANDATORY Meeting: Parents and guardians of ALL religious education students are Required to be informed regarding the safety and wellbeing of their children while in our care. Tuesday, Sept 13 at 6:30pm in the Parish Center.
Our next swap meet will be on Thursday, August 18 from 5pm to 7pm for Parishioners, Friday and Saturday, August 19 and 20, from 7am to 1pm for the general public.
There will be a 7-12th Grade Teacher training/meeting in the O'Leary Room on Aug 21st, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. There will also be parent and student meetings the same date and place, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Confirmation parents and students (9th and 10th graders) will meet the same date and place, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. These are mandatory meetings. If you are not able to attend, please notify Terry at 520-885-5908 or tgervais@diocesetucson.org. Alternate dates will be set up for those who are unable to attend.
Raffle tickets have been mailed to all registered parishioners. They are $1 each or a book of 12 for $10. Prizes are $2000, $1000, $500 and 10 $50 winners. The drawing will be held at our Ministry Fair on Sunday, September 18 which begins at 10:30 am. Proceeds from this raffle will help fund the many dinners and activities the Jubilee Committee has sponsored throughout the year. Extra raffle tickets are available in both offices. On May 7-8, the Parish Family was able to be with the young children who received for the very first time! The children who join us at the Altar from now on are: Harper Bradley, Kaileen Chacon, Elena Koreny, Damian Chacon, Tim Chacon, Benjamin Martinez, Natalya Gonzalez, Cooper Graves, Scarlett Romero, Alexander Stoliker, and Raquel Wemmer It was a gift to be a part of all the celebrating! It brought back memories of many of our own first Communions! Congratulations to these young Parishioners on this great life milestone!
On May 9, 2022, we had one very special young man make his Confirmation. Bishop Weisenburger presided at the ceremony held at Our Mother of Sorrows. Our Confirmation graduate was Luis Colon-Reyes. Luis is a regular altar server and a committed and active member of our parish. We are all so proud of him!
Every weekday evening at 6pm during May, we will pray the Rosary together inside the church. Please come join us for one or all our May Devotion gatherings.
On Sunday, May 1, at 1 pm there will be a procession and crowning of Mary. The procession will begin at the prayer garden and proceed to the church. If you are going to participate, please be at the prayer garden by 12:45. You may also wait in the church. Be prepared for high temperatures by wearing a hat, bringing water, and an umbrella for shade. Cookies and cold drinks will be served afterward.
Thank you for the Catholic Foundation's 2022 grant award given to St. Francis de Sales Parish in the amount of $15,000. The grant was given to help pay for a greatly needed, new phone system for the Administration and Parish Center. The Catholic Foundation's grant program is one of the programs funded by the Annual Catholic Appeal.

We will be having our swap meet/rummage sale on March 31 from 5pm to 7pm for Parishioners, and on Friday April 1 and Saturday April 2 from 7am to 1pm for the general public. If you have items to donate, please drop them off at the Parish Center.
Each Friday during Lent, except Good Friday, we are resuming our Lenten Soup Nights at 5pm in the Parish Center. Stations of the Cross will follow at 6pm inside the Church. Everyone is welcome to join us for this Parish Lenten tradition of community and prayer.
Throughout the season of Lent, the deacons of the parish are giving Lenten Reflections at the 8:00 am Mass. These special reflections will be sprinkled throughout the four weeks of Lent. Click here for more information! Please join us!
